Commercial Carpark Resurfacing, Terrigal
Terrigal, Central Coast NSW
The carpark serving a small Terrigal shopping strip had failed across several bays, so it was taken in cells and only part of the area was ever out of action at once. The first photo shows the cracked original surface with the planer already on site. Milling took the failed material off down to base, and a second batch of excavation was handled near the rear laneway later in the day. Paving then followed bay by bay, a ride-on roller across the open mat and a plate compactor worked into the edges, with the white bay lines going back on once the surface had set. The final frames are completed cells under tree shadow with no plant left standing on them.
Glenn and his team were terrific. Such a difficult job made to look easy.
