Shared Lane Driveway Resurfacing, Empire Bay

One long strip serves several homes on this Empire Bay lane, so the work moved along its length in sections rather than closing the whole thing at once. Early photos show the old surface scraped back and graded with water still sitting in the low spots, a roller and a small excavator working the base. The middle of the set covers asphalt going down section by section, including the aprons at individual houses and a plate compactor tucked in beside a rainwater tank. Sandstone edging and planted beds run hard against both sides, so the new mat was finished tight against them. The last frame is the apron where the lane ties into the public road, cones still out.
