Kerb & Channel with Road Edge Reconstruction, Morisset

This one sits north of our usual patch, on a residential street at Morisset in the Lake Macquarie council area. The verge along the road edge was stripped back behind barriers, then new kerb and channel was formed and poured along the line and left to cure. With the concrete set, an excavator carried the verge prep further down the block and an asphalt shoulder strip was laid and rolled directly against the new kerb face. The joint between the two was sealed along its length. The last photo runs the full completed length of kerb and shoulder away down the street.
