Road Patch, Wyong

Cracking had spread across a stretch of laneway here until the surface broke into loose plates, running along a mown verge where a driveway crossing meets the lane rather than a kerb. Our crew taped off the site, then took the failed section out down to base with a small loader while one of the crew squared the cut edge by hand against the grass. One frame from midway through catches the fresh mix still steaming as it was compacted. In the last photo the repaired section sits flush against the grass with the crack pattern gone.
